Should be okay as long as you have a fairly modern (read: thin & light) TV. I wouldn't put one of the old CRT ones on this thing.
"Yamaha" - it's Japanese for "fuck your sports car."
I like it because of the storage, handy in a little apartment
I just hope it wouldnt look stupid using a coffee table as a TV stand!
It looks more like a TV stand than a coffee table to me anyway, hence FS and BB selling it.
Liberate your inner designer with the contemporary CT-8188 coffee table.
(ahhh is that like let your female hormones out?)
Boasting a long satin chrome pull on a convenient pull down door, this stunning piece of furniture will free some space with its handy storage.
(so is that meaning even an idiot could find the handle in the dark?)
Admire the outstanding craftsmanship that differentiates Sonax from the rest and compliment your home with this ideal piece of furniture.
(okay so 2x10's and concrete blocks or plastic milk crates are not the rage anymore?)
Okay enough joking around, personally, I don't think you could build it for 119 plus tax, and it really depends on how big and heavy of a T.V. your going to put on it, flat/LCD or LED most likely with no issues.
But I would go check out wallmart, and Home Depot, lately they have been show casing some pretty neat furniture, another place is super store!
I hope I didn't offend anyone.
And as below the grand opening sale at the new Lowes store...lol

Sigh. It's cheap POS. Save up and get a decent item and feel good about it.

What new Lowes store?
LC Peter... where would you suggest I get something that is not cheap?
Sonax does make a lot of TV stands as well, so I would imagine it should be fine, as long as there is some support in the middle to handle the weight of the TV there. If there is no support then the top would warp and the TV would be unstable.
