have you ever noticed that the motorcycles produced directly reflect the women of the country they come from.
the japanese motorcycle: very reliable, usually light weight and handle well,
fun to ride, have a distinctive sound to them and howl when wound up,
all the bikes use the same archetecture to get the job done ,give you great bang for the buck, and look basicly the same.
the german motorcycle: for the longest time and still even now mount the jugs (cylinders) 180' from each other, asymetrical headlights, and most of them have dual exhaust and shaft drive. can be a bit pricey but very reliable
if not a little quirky. i have never riden a german bike so i have no opinion on that.
the british motorcycle: historicly had a chronic leaking problem, they handled fairly well yet had no teeth to them. thanks to modern technology they now have a bite to them and don't leak and don't back fire after going to full power and then backing off.
the italian motorcycle: beautifull to look at, usaully blinged out with expensive suspension and loud exhaust and requiring frequent expensive adjustments and oil changes, hard on the rubber and an aggressive riding position, that normally results in something like a blown muscle or disc.
the american motorcycle: usually grossly overweight, overpriced, chromed out with an extremely loud dual exhaust and no performance, tacky paint jobs and a plague of reliability issues and no start problems that usually result in push or kick starting and attract pirates.
to all the ladies out there, this is only a male perspective on this and i offer my sincerest apology to anyone offended by this.
