I just did the Shaw Speed Test http://speedtest.shaw.ca/run and got these results: download speed 37.37 Mbps and upload speed 2.28 Mbps.
I guess these seem like decent enough speeds but here's the problem: until recently when using uTorrent I was getting download speeds of about 1 Mbps, but as of the last few weeks my uTorrent download speeds have been about 10Kbps to 50Kbps.
I have tried loading uTorrent on three different machines and it's always the same, so I doubt it's a hardware or a Windows problem. Other than downloading via uTorrent, all other throughput speeds seem reasonably fast.
I have tried all the usual adjustments as found in uTorrent's Menu / Options and have checked a number of Internet forums to no avail.
Does Shaw throttle torrents? Is some way to improve my uTorrent download speeds to get them back to (or better) than they were?
