I cant find a thread from about a year ago that had to do with helicopter school, so im making a new one. i havent done a lot of reasearch, so these will be noobie questions.
Iv been thinking about different careers lately, im 25 years old. One thats always been in the back of my mind has been to fly helicopters. I know there are a few pilots here and would like some feed back from you guys.
I read that there is always a demand for pilots according to a training school, is this true?
Do i need prerequisites for training?
A typical school costs $50,000, with 100 hours flying time to get a commercial license. Is that all there is, am i expected to get a job with only 100 hours? also does this license allow me to fly any normal helicopter?
pay isnt a huge deal, but what can i expect for entry level flying?
and lastly how much do you enjoy being a pilot as your job out of 10, if you are one. thanks guys.
