I was in my last week of my last term at BCIT. I rode my kawi to school everyday. One day i was about to go home and as i turned the corner to check my ride out ,,IT WAS GONE ...OH SHIT,,,,,,,,,,HHMMmmmm, I said to myself,"i had a valid parking pass sticker on it and a disc lock and it was backed into an individual stall"". I ran to the security office to ask around and a guard told me that he saw it getting towed out of the stall and out of the bcit parking lot , 45 minuites earlier. I called the tow truck company that he saw take my bike away MUNDYS TOWING and they told me this,,,,,"A GUY CALLED AND SAID HE LOST HIS KEYS TO HIS BIKE AND HE NEEDED IT TOWED". I then said,,"DID YOU NOT ASK FOR I.D. YOU JERK OFF,,,THAT WAS MY FU*KIN BIKE YOU PRICK.". And i called the cops to report it. The COP finaly came a half hour later and we then proceded to drive to the location of the drop off. 5 minuites before we got there,,,aparently the jack ass who got the bike towed called again to get it moved again ("so they say"). But MUNDYS TOWING informed him that it was now a stolen bike and the cops were on there way. OBVIOUSLY the thieve didn't stick around to welcome myself and the cop to where he had the bike droped off. We got there and my precious baby was standing there in the sunshine untouched with the disc lock still on it. ( LUCKY OR WHAT) IN THE BACK ALLY OF A CHURCH of all places.....
First off,,, why the hell would you not ask for some proof or some Identification of the person who claimed it was theres,,, before you towed it. And second WHY THE BLOODY HELL WOULD YOU TELL THE THIEVE THAT IT WAS STOLEN WHEN HE CALLED THE SECOND TIME,, AND LET HIM TAKE OFF. If it were ME at mundys on the phone, i would obviously tell him that a tow truck would be there in 10 min. and when the cop arives ,, he arests him and lets the owner of the bike (ME) beat the piss right out of him and then take a round at the tow truck driver who took the bike for no reason.AAARRRGGGGGG
anyhow i hope you all enjoyed this , and are happy that it actually turned out with a positive ending.
CHEERS TO ALL and happy riding
REMEMBER,,,, IF YOU EVER SEE A BIKE GETTING MOVED OR TOWED FROM A SPOT, ,,,,,,,,,THINK OF THIS AND ASK YOURSELF ,,SHOULD I ,,,,,OR NOT.......CALLL THE COPS.
