    Becoming a 5%'er.

    Okay peasants.

Here is a thread for the investment minded. Jamie James is no longer posting, so we can't rely on buying GE shares to hit the win.

Let's talk stocks for the win.

What should we buy to be hitting some gains to join the 5%'er league?

How do we shelter our gains to avoid taxation, and thus being robbed by
    the 95%'ers.

Who has ideas? I'm long a few shots right now, short financials. Let's
    talk kiddies.

We need some small stocks to give us all some riches, bitches.

And, no... I don't want to hear about how your mother got a .25 bonus at Raymond James.

I need to rack in a few million and ride off into the sunset on an HP2S with the other 5%'ers....

All the while singing.. "Suck a dick biaaatch".

    Thank you.

Forget about actually becoming a 5%er, just look the part on a budget, by grabbing that super baller 88 Maxima for sale in the classifieds. People will think you've hit it big if you're rolling in that.

Easy son, I already gave your mom a tip, isn't that enough?

    Moving along, lets talk stocks.

Well, clearly you are just an average man. Only a 5%er can appreciate such a rich and incredible colour as burgundy.

As an industry professional I have to be very careful about how I contribute to this thread. But that said, if you want to make loot, my best advice is to get a 20 year plus experience broker you can trust. That probably can only be found with a referral. This person would very likely not be at a bank owned firm as most of those are asset collectors for "wealth management" programs that really do underperform. Find a specialist in investing - not neccessarily sales. Someone who is connected.
