So I got a Dealer demo (Sales) 2011 Honda Civic DX-G Sedan in white with 4,000km's
I walked out the door paying $18,400 (60 months at 0.9 Financing) and got them to throw in front and rear winter mats, 1st oil change free and a full tank of gas.
Now my questions....
1) Should I take the Honda Extended Warranty which would extend my Comprehensive for another 4 years (130,000 km) beyond the standard 3 years for $1148
2) Should I take the Platinum protection plan for a one time fee of $299.00. This includes the insurance company paying me $7500 on top of whatever ICBC gives me. That is if they can't recover my stolen vehicle. $2000 towards comprehensive deductible re-reimbursement. $2000 towards home insurance deductible, if you claim for property stolen from your vehicle. If my stolen vehicle is recovered I get $2000 towards comprehensive deductible. $2000 for your home insurance deductible if you claim for property stolen from your vehicle.
3) First Canadian protection Products Platinum Shield Paint Protection (Guaranteed for life) Long lasting sealant that enhances the paints clear coating. It states that you will never need to wax your car again if you get this paint protection. Carter said that theirs is different, it takes 4 hours to do and it is guaranteed for life) Not like the other cheap ones other dealers offer.
I already know that the rust proofing, undercoating and interior protections are a total scam! So I am not getting those items.
