Are being proposed as a new business in St. Johns. Women drivers, and women only passengers.
Apparently the idea is a big hit in europe, with Muslim women.
Now hold on a second, I ask. I thought Canada was supposed to be a politically correct nation; I thought we were supposed to be inclusive, multi-cultural, open armed and 'accepting' ...
So why does it seem that the more 'politically correct' and 'open armed' this country becomes, the more biased against (predominantly) Caucasian males it also becomes (have you heard about the "affirmative job action mandate" in fire departments and police forces recently, forcing them to hire visible minorities before they hire potentially more qualified white males ... well, because they are part of a specific ethnic, racial or sexually oriented group) ...
And does that seem right?
I mean - wasn't it only like last year that some lesbian female took a posh Vancouver golf course to court, becasue the clubhouse 'discriminated' against her for barring her from entering the 'men's only' clubhouse ... claiming to have suffered for it?
Wouldn't banning males from riding specific cabs be a form of discrimination?
I'm truly confused.
