I've been riding in textiles since I started riding street bikes and needless to say, I really need to get a proper leather jacket. I'd like to get into some track riding this summer as well so there's some extra incentive.
My issue is that none of the leather jackets I've been looking at (so far the A* GP-R is my top pick due to the perforation and features) have a belt attachment loop. I've got a long torso and as vain as it might sound I don't really want to be flaunting my Spongebob underwear/ass crack/love handles when I'm cruising around town.
Before I get flamed, I realize that these jackets attach to pants and ultimately I want to get a pair of matching riding pants so I can set it up as a 2-pc for track riding and more 'spirited' street riding - but If I'm just squidding up the s2s or riding to work or my grilfriend's place etc, I'd like to just rock some jeans and keep my dignity.
Has anyone modified one of these jackets (or a similar one) with a belt loop attachment? If so, since I'm not much of a seamstress, any tips on how/where I might get this done or a better solution? If not, maybe I'm just neurotic and weird
ps. If anyone has a better 'track&street' jacket recommendation I'm all ears.
