A good read. It's clear the 'war on drugs' has failed. It's been clear for many years even to a large amount of DEA folks - I've seen many reports and interviews over the years that back this up easily.
I liked the movie Moneyball. The reason I liked it so much is it took something very basic like baseball and tried to figure out what step in the process makes things most successful. I'd like to see the same thing applied to the drug issue in North America. Stop criminalizing addicts and lining organized crimes pockets and start fixing the social issues.
