This might come off as a silly question but I recall Mark and Chris @ PRS explaining how before rides, one should always drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.
When I moved on from the scooter to my RD200 and now SR500, I noticed the rate of dehydration is much higher. I'm getting thirsty at an alarming rate compared to what I'm used to. I'm always drinking several glasses of water prior to hitting the road. So far, my rides have been strictly city only. No highway (yet.)
What is it that causes this dehydration and do you folks have any tips on how to avoid this? I ask because if/when I decide to go on longer rides, I'd hate to make more stops than necessary. Thanks in advance!
