looks like a nice ride
"Aw fuck what the hell have I done!!!! Fuck me that's going to be hell hard to keep on top of wtf is going on!!!"
DON'T STUFF THE CAGERS!
Mmmm ... California road technology
I'm not addicted! and I'm not quitting!!
Heeere's your sign...
...and "always" look on the bright side of life...
Another nice place to toss a Buell.
Just outside of San Fran. Sweet.
I rode it 2 years ago! So many good roads in Cali....
We wanted to carve twisties so for us it was a fun road, but not great by California standards.
The good: Remote, super twisty, scenic, and zero traffic.
The bad: Some gravel/sand, lots of bumps and rough pavement, and parts of it had been recently chip sealed. Lots of flat corners..ie no camber. There were several sections of the road that we just had to sorta "plod along" due to the road conditions. Spirited riding was not an option. I wonder how old the review on Pashnit was.... incidentally Pashinit was how I found the road in the first place. Awesome website for planning trips.
Don’t get me wrong.... it was absolutely a great ride, the thing is that there are so many other roads in Cali that has the good stuff that this road has, plus pristine pavement with perfect camber in every turn.
We have come across some sections of roads in Cali that are absolutely unbelievable for a "spirited" ride on a sport bike... this road was good, but not a "perfect ride"

Looks a lot like the old S2S. I used to know every meter of that road. I have to plan a Cali vacation this year, hitting Mt.St.Helens along the way.
