I had to replace two sealed bearings for the brake pedal on my KTM dirt bike. I picked up two SKF bearings. These are not the same size as wheel bearings, much smaller (10mmX8mm). As per usual I popped off the seals and there was a clear grease that was probably K.Y. jelly cause if I used them (sealed from factory) I'd be f*cked pretty quick. I weighed them before repacking. They weighed 25% more after being properly packed. Think about the cost of grease these companies are saving, moreover, what about shipping cost? 25% off! All at our cost, complete crap. Okay, I've properly vented now I can relax, with a scotch.
