Anyone ever get any strange anomolies happening to e-mail accounts when migrating to iCloud?
Btw for Android users. Dropbox is giving 3GB extra (5gb total) if you use the auto photo/video upload feature and fill your capacity as they gradually add more space. I would just film a watch or your tv for 10-20 minutes at a time in HD.
(sorry to clutter your thread, I didn't want to create a whole new thread)
I was gonna post "wait until CanaganD post something about android".
No issues transferring emails, multiple accounts
OK I fixed it. I just deleted the new iCloud account then reassigned it. I also have two other e-mail accounts but they were untouched, only the new iCloud account got duplicated, I think it was a merging issue with the existing data already on the phone.
When I transferred everything from MoboleMe to iCloud, it for some reason create two identical e-mail accounts, but now only one after I re&re'd.
Now all of my contacts, events, email, photos, music, are all synched between three IOS5 devices. All by simply logging into the same Apple ID on each device.
Serious question, does Android have a similar method of synchronizing? I actually don't know I've never played with a non-Apple device for years (Blackberry sucks I remember that though).
I love iOS5 because whenever I get a new device (I usually skip a few levels ie Ipad 1 to iPad 3, iPhone 3 to 4S etc), I just plug in my Apple ID and password and all the data is pulled in with no effort. Great if you ever lose your phone or drop it in the toilet.
The iPhone/iPad is has simply become a thin client.
I hear a lot about how Apple sucks, I want to know why other operating systems are better.
I know using iTunes is a pile of crap I never use it, I dont listen to music on the move anyhow though.
So to all you Apple haters, what's better and why? Keep in mind I'm not against moving to something better but I want to know why its better.
Google Account provides the same functionality.Serious question, does Android have a similar method of synchronizing? I actually don't know I've never played with a non-Apple device for years (Blackberry sucks I remember that though).
