    I passed!!!

Hey everybody, I did my road test this morning in Burnaby and I passed! EEEHAAAW!

I pretty much aced it! Just one missed shoulder check and forgot to cancel the turn signal once.

No more restrictions! I'm free to ride whenever and wherever!

Right now the bike is parked and I'm going for a celebratory !

    Cheers! Ride safe!

Well done. And only one thread on the subject. Double the brownie points for you!

don't get drunk celibrating and ride or drive home and get caught by the donut eaters it'll kinda spoil the whole thing.
now comes the hard part; keeping your driving record intact.

Absolutely! It can sometimes be hard to say 'No' when you arrive at your favorite local and all you want is a coffee, but a friend buys you a beer. I've left my bike right where I've parked it and risked getting a ticket, rather than ride it just a couple of blocks home. It's simply not worth the risk. I scarified quite a bit just to get this machine in the first place, I'm not going to take the chance on something so trivial as one beer.

Now that I'm able, I'm looking forward to meeting the people of BCSB, I look forward to having a fine cup of coffee with the members of this forum. And then going for a ride I know I'll be able to enjoy, all on my own (as a licensed rider), in the company of like minded people.

I'm really pumped right now (I PASSED ON THE FIRST TRY!) I've also had a few beers with my friends... tomorrow its supposed to be sunny and I'm going riding!

Cheers! and remember... Keep the shiny side up! and The rubber side down!
