    Utah?

Looking at doing a trip down to Salt lake City and parts unknown of Utah at the beginning of June.
So far I am thinking of going via the #20 to Coleville then south through Idaho to Utah.
Looking for things to see and do once we get down there.
Might spend a day or two just touring around then maybe head for Reno then north for home.
Besides the salt flats what else should be on the must do list?
Smoke em if you got em!

    My what?
Bryce canyon and Zion national park are both slow going rides but have beautiful roads and amazing scenery. If you are there late may, take in a WSBK race at Miller Motorsport Park. It's a great place to experience world class racing. The salt flats are cool to see and take a picture by the sign but the highway there is incredibly boring. If you head across the salt to the actual flats (which are about a mile from the highway) you need to wash your bike immediately after or corrosion will start on everything. It's a great trip. I went down a few years ago and did about 7000km in 5 days with all but about 500 of those on secondary roads. Good memories.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

Moab is a funky town, at least it was in the late '80s. Canyon Lands, Arches. Butler Motorcycle Maps has a decent map of Idaho. Less than $20 off Pashnit. I haven't ridden there but I drove with some friends to Crested Butte and down to Moab to mnt bike. The roads were excellent but lots of long boring roads getting there. Have a great time I'm interested in the route you choose. PS, from Utah I went to Kings Canyon, Sequoia Nat. Park, Death Valley over to LA and down Baja. Camping all the way.

Zion and Bryce Canyon!!!! +1,000,000 that is the best reason to go to Utah.

Take Hells Canyon south (enterprise OR) then head south east (West Wendover NV). There is going to be some flat roads this but the scenery will be great (salt flats and more). Cheap places to stay in West Wendover (big casino with big rooms for $60/night).

    when you going?

+ a billion. Zion is the second most visited Nation park in the states, a rep well deserved! Stay at least a day or two, take the tram into the canyon (closed to vehicles) and walk up to a few of the sights.

The road from Bryce to Capital Reef is probably the best of Utah, if you're camping there's a great campsite at Capitol Reef, also check out the dead end road in Capital. Sunrise in Bryce, Sunset in Capitol Reef, bucket list stuff for sure!!!!!!

Shity video of Capitol Reef sunset ride

The road from Capital to Arches is pretty straight but the scenery is bizarre and very worth it, Arches is amazing, stay at the campsite right in Arches if you can. Once your in the Arches area there's also Canyonlands, Monument Valley, best to see Monument off road, rent a jeep.

    Good luck have fun!

Ok, not sure, it used to be the last one before you left Nevada and that was a long time ago. If it is still there I would hope they have new girls because that was 30 years ago.

I think even numbers work better for hotel rooms and so far it is 2 guys and 2 girls on 4 bikes ,tying to keep it simple.

Utah is awesome, you'll love it (except for the weak beer). +1 on Arches, and the other nat. parks. Bring some hiking shoes.

    My what?
I forgot to mention, if you can, ride highway 395 south from Pendleton over Battle Mountain. Beautiful scenery and a fantastic road.
