..... to CBC Radio?
I just listened to a self-appointed representative for Vancouver sex trade workers talking about how great it is for the recent Supreme Court ruling. The ruling states that the women have a right to a safe working environment and brothels should be opened in the city. All of that time and money spent on something that no women "voluntarily chooses" to do. Anyone who called in to suggest assisting the women involved in the trade to get out of it were quickly dismissed.
Next was a report on a demonstration at the VAG about the anniversary of the Exxon Valdez disaster with an American who flew in especially to educate us ignorant Canadians on the dangers of tanker traffic.
Then I listen to a story about a women afflicted with albinism and her fight with Earls Restaurant. Apparently their brand of "Albino Rhino" beer is demeaning to people with albinism.
Strangely I listen to CBC quite often. The evening shows are pretty good and so are many of the interviews.
Non-sensical rant now over.
