My CB400 had a tubeless tire on the rear. When this tire was removed earlier today, there was a tube underneath.
My front wheel (from a CB750) was a tube tire, and also had a tube inside (predictably).
The rims look identical to my untrained eye, so I'm guessing they are both tube rims.
Can I run a tubeless tire on a tubeless rim? I've found very mixed info about this online and need some concrete info. Do I need to run a tube inside the tubeless tire on a tube rim to prevent air leaks, or is there another reason for doing that? Please enlighten! Thanks.
