probably. but it'd be cool to ride around with an axe in an axe holder. sure beats punching a mirror or kicking a door.
you could probably get away with that on a vstrom or other dual purpose bike... when pulled over, you could say it's for clearing the path when you're off-road.
I thinks this would work the best. Someone cuts you off at slow speed (like lane splitting). Pow, off with the mirror. Pop, out with the headlight, and your gone.

There is an off road group here in town that has chainsaws on the front of bikes. It would be good for the Zombie apocalypse too. They look like this:
