Wow. Awesome. Definitely the best travel ad I've ever seen.
Extra points for the hot women.
I'm not addicted! and I'm not quitting!!
Heeere's your sign...
...and "always" look on the bright side of life...
Bit long but nicely done. I like how they emphasized the clear water, everyone seems to think Alberta is just a dirty oil province.
i think albertans will be surprised to know they have so many mountains
listen to me or i will eat you're bacon
Alberta has tons of hot girls, I love going back there for that.
Totally agree with Tractor. The only reason I like BC better is we have the Ocean as well. I did a road trip across most of the western US just over a month ago and realized that with the exception of Arizona's desert, I could see pretty much all of what I saw in BC.
That said, it was a well done video that really highlights the beauty of the that province.
i think the ad over states how mountainous alberta is , thats all
listen to me or i will eat you're bacon
I've been to all the province's and territories.... except Alberta.... Never seem to make it there.... Whenever I go back east I fly.... and same when returning.... just never had the "urge" to go there
Anything You Can Do...... I Can Do Drunker
"Growin up leads to growin old and then to dying...... And dying to Me don't sound like all that much fun"
That is a well-done ad, but...
The only part of Alberta that has mountains is the portions that are next to BC, lol. Where I live, it's a 5 hr drive to get to the hills, and for the most part the roads are straight and level. Although I haven't seen much of the province yet, there are people I work with from all areas of it, and I always ask them what it's like where they used to live. The south part has the hoodoos near Drumheller, but very few trees. The north has lots of trees but it's mostly muskeg/bog. IMO, the best part of the province is next to BC. The travel Alberta ads I have seen on TV are shot mostly in the mountains, and it seems to portray the province to be like that, but it's far from it. And, I haven't been fishing since I left BC, as the "rivers" around here are either just overgrown sloughs or poluted brown crud.
Although I will say one great thing in this province is the booming economy! The utilities and oil industry is very strong, and basic health care is free to residents.

Many good memories in that province. Been all over it. North, East, South, and West. Some absolutely amazing landscape. The sky is so crazy, watching storms kilometers high rolling in, sunsets that never end. Chinooks rolling in, absolute blistering cold followed by months of pure blazing sun. It is the sunniest province in Canada by the way!! Living in view of the rockies, and I mean ROCKIES, not the ones here butting the mainland(no offense) Good times. Thanks for that.

Pffffffffffffttttttttttt......Brass knob on the shitter door. Go two hours east of the BC/AB boarder and you'll think you've died and gone to hell. Waste lands. Boring as hell all the way to Onterrible. Stinking farms, dirty poluted water from farm fertilizer that's way over sprayed on crops, thousands of nearly dead horses right on the side of the highway awaiting slaughter.
That's like seeing a video of Vancouver....and they convientently miss all the drug addicts downtown, the bums, the garbage blowing up the streets, the gang violence, the shitty traffic and the shitty mix of cultures (bums from every other country).
They show you a snow capped mountian and a Hockey game, some neon lights and you guys are like crows that just saw something shiney....CAW CAW. Dig a little deeper, you'll see the ugly underbelly that is AB. Greed and more greed. They didn't become the richest province by sharing all that money with the poor and drug addicted.
