It's this really obscure number, you've probably never heard of it...
Every time I am going near 200 at the track, I am tucked in. On the street, specifically the Autobahn in 2005, I found it really challenging to ride above 250 for any length of time. My head was getting buffeted around and it was very tiring. I think a naked bike might be a bit better... as your head is just hitting smooth air, but still tough to do. I can't imagine wheeling at that speed, but I am sure that once you do it, it is no big deal, or at least not as big of a deal.
But your point is sound: the wind has a hell of a lot more authority above 200.
It doesnt get better on a naked bike. I had zero fairings for a few months and 100 felt like 180 in a full tuck.
