I'm about to repack my Yoshimura can, and I wanted to get a few words of advice.
The Yoshimura site has a nice concise how-to video, which (of course) makes the process look super-simple... which I'm sure is rather unrealistic.
First issue is to acquire the correct drill bit - "number 9" is a very odd size, but is within a few hundreds of an inch of 5mm, which is what I'll go with.
I understand that if the rivet spins while you're drilling it out, it's a bitch to overcome. Any tricks in that regard?
As for re-rivetting, I have the correct rivets, but I lack a rivet setting tool. Is a simple hand rivetter (that you can buy at Princess Auto for around $10, for instance) sufficient? (I suppose some lucky fellows use a hydraulic setter, but that won't be me!)
Anything else to watch for? (aside from the obvious "don't breathe that crap"...)
Thanks in advance.
