I got a pair of RS Taichi and Knox Handroids this year. Both great, the Knox has a longer gauntlet which I like.
looking to upgrade gloves for this season, I would like them to be
comfortable while providing top safety options like wrist & palm
support, kevlar maybe?
please let me know what is out there in a gauntlet glove.
Used teknics for years.. comfee in touring.. unfortunately not
much in the safety padding area..
not lookin' for a 300 buck glove either.. seen some offerings from
alpinstrars but i'm not a big fan of theirs.. tnx!

ooh, nice,,,
bwahahhaha..
The rest of your body may be mangled beyond recognition in a serious motorcycle accident,
but your hand will be pristine from the wrist up when the police find it in a nearby ditch thanks to the Handroid glove.![]()
I have a set of Tap-Moto gauntlets that have all the bells and whistles, but are still quite comfortable. Cost me less than a hundred at Imperial.

I think the 2011 model got rid of the kangaroo leather because it absorbs moisture. Not a big deal if you're a fairweather rider like myself, but I guess it caused issues from the 'hardcore' all-year riders.
Stop by daytona in surrey and see if they still have some of the old stock left. It was on sale when I went there and I think I paid less than $100 for the pair compared to the newer model. I would have bought the new model if they had it in my size, but I'm kind of glad I didn't.
Get those in green and you'll look like Gumbi! Ha![]()

I highly recommend these gloves. Very similar to the tap moto gloves that were posted with knox armor as an added bonus. Good price as well. My friend bought these and they are also very comfortable and good quality gloves.
wish i could, cant drive.. carpel tunnel surgery, hence the need for comfortable gauntlets with
proper protection... looking early for when the season really starts..

KNOX Handroid Hand Armour
Pinnacle of the collection, race inspired hand armour.
Patented Exo skeletal flexible spines that cover the vulnerable knuckles, fingers and thumb and give full unrestricted movement. These link to a comfortable gel lined Metapod that covers the metacarpals and offers added protection to the back of the hand.
On the palm the tried and tested Sport Scaphoid Protection System is enhanced by additional sliding systems on all sides which ensure that in the event of an accident the majority of contact with the ground are sliders and not leather. An additional inner cuff slider works to support and enhance the SPS sliding effect. Super strong and tear resistant Kangaroo leather covers the inside palm and fingers.
The Handroid carries the most technical Knox Boa lacing system that allows precision adjustment around the whole cuff. The wrist system acts as an external brace and tightens equally from all sides. All you have to do is dial in the right torque for you. To release simply pull the dial. Putting gloves on and off has never been smarter or easier.
Knox Handroid live exoskeleton finger and knuckle protection on all fingers and thumb
Knox metapod protector
Knox Sport styled Scaphoid protection system
Knox wrist slider
Knox cuff slider
"Dialled in" Boa lacing system
Kangaroo leather palm
Amara grip pad with silicon print for improved control
Japanese race quality drum dyed Aniline leather
Japanese polyester high tenacity thread
Superior fit and comfort
Does anyone stock the Knox line locally?
Guys who carry rs Taichi had them at the bike show.
Sameones who pulled the douchey move at the BBQ last fall.
Blair at sv racing parts had them at the Pitt meadows track day too.
taichi wrx gloves are pretty good value at $140.

The Knox BioMechs also have the wrist sliders and they are a bit cheaper than the Handroids;

I picked up some of those Tap-Moto gloves @ the bike show and they are super comfy so far.
