I have a question... and I'm not sure calling ICBC is the place to get the answer.
It regards motorcycles that are imported for non highway use, but have been somehow issued a registration title and are plated and insured.
To me it seems like some sort of loophole is being used. I'm not sure... but this is my guess.
My concern is... if a registration and title has been issued... can it be revoked?
I did hear some years back (and I'm not sure how correct or good my memory is) was that when you bought a bike new from a dealer, at that time you had the ability to have a registration issued so you could plate it.. providing you made of course the necessary mods to make the bike "street" ready... ie lights, signals... plate light etc.
Can someone end up buying one of these bikes... and then down the road someone goes.. hey, yeah... uhm NO.
I mean... the gov't seems to do whatever the hell it likes, so I am sure it can do that... but I'm curious what anyones experience or knowledge would be.
If you want, you can PM me.
