Hey, first post here. Just found the forum while surfing around. I spend quite a bit of time enjoying your great province! Sledding in the winter and riding in the summers.
Anyway, last time we were out at Revelstoke this winter, the RCMP were checking our trailer. They were good guys and let us fix up some stuff rather than fine us. While visiting with the one officer he was giving me a heads up on the BC highway laws. He explained that they have no choice now, and that if you are caught +40k over the speed limit on any roadway the vehicle is automatically impounded for a week or something.
Anybody hear about this or have any input? Pretty easy to be +40 while passing. My buddies were laughing when we made a couple passes with the Dodge pulling a 27' and had it +40 over without trying.
