Wed May 2
Heading out with a little sun and a chill in the air. Hit the 176th boarder crossing for 9am and jumped across. Heading to Kennwick for tonight. Wanting to get as far as we could in the 1st couple days. The weather was iffy and a little cold but knowing the further we got the warmer it would be.
Woke to a peak of sunshine but our direction of travel was pure black and evil looking. The rain suites went on.
Scooting off the hwy and on to the #395 things were looking good for awhile. Road was amazing until will hit sheets of rain, hail. Gloves and boots soaked . Happy to hit the little town of Unity. A 3 house town full of hospitality. Bobby, our tour guide cooked us up a hot meal in the little town store and a bed for the night.
Again waking to more rain. Poured all the way to Boise, Idaho. As we pulled in, the sun started to peak out and had a good feeling it was going to stay with us the rest of the trip.
SUNSHINE !!! Off to the Bonneville Salt Flats we go. Rode down to Twin Falls, then taking the #93 to Wells. A dream come true... The Salt Flats !!
On wards we go to Salt Lake City. Strange city but awesome detailing love for the bikes.
Day 5 - 12 to come....
