I forget if I posted this already.
I wanted to know if i could step down off the big bore rung of the ladder.
The bike, other than needing its suspension tuned, was positively telekinetic. It felt like a race 2 stroke.
The engine is very smooth and less rackety at low rpms than a big bore Kawi.
Stop the earth rotating brakes
The comfort level, for a 600. At 6', I was pretty upright on the thing. Decent seat.
The instrumentation is useless, I'm afraid.
The upright position makes it hard for a 6' person to tuck into the thing.
Engine is kind of unexciting. There are endless revs but, no big smack of power like on a big bore. It's making lots of power, no doubt but, it's too tame and easy for me.
It's even smaller and more invisible, to the averge cager, than a big bike ;^)
So, all in all, I think I'll just keep wrestling the big bore python around. The 636 is a fantastic bike but, I've outgrown it, I think.
