What a fabuous (and FAST day) today!!
Perhaps due to the high fuel prices right now, the BC roads were virtually empty today - all day long! I started out this morning in Sorento, riding a nicely twisting two-laner along Shushwap Lake from Blind Bay to Eagle Bay and back, the hooked over to do the lovely (and fun) Salmon River road (out of Salmon Arm), to easily then connect with the wonderfully flowing yet very 'tight' (in places) Westside Road to Kelowna (LOVE that road) ... then south to the Green Mntn Road (one of my absolute FAVES) ...
... and then - I ended up, after supping in Princeton, hitting the soft evening light on the Hope/Princeton Hwy, with it being virtually totally void of any traffic or cars (of any sort) at all. It was so splendid, I 'sessioned' a couple of the really sweet sections three and four times, and very, very much fun was definitely had.
What a freakin splendicular day!!
Saw ten thousand deer today, three bears ... and one Moose (by Sunday Summit):
