Its been awhile since I last logged on here, and its been quite awhile since I last owned a bike. But I saw something today that made me come back to post this.
I was on my way from North Delta to New West in my truck, coming down Nordel Way, when I came up beside a sport bike (sorry don't know what it was other than orange and black). It was obviously a road test, the rider wore high vis vest and was followed by the road test vehicle with the sign on it. Anyway, just at the pedestrian overpass at the top of the hill, I was just ahead of the bike with it on my left when I saw the red and blue lights behind me. Since I was the first off the line at the light I thought that maybe I had sped up too much for the cops liking, but was surprised to see him pull in between the car and the bike, and pull the bike over. Of course the road test vehicle had to pull over behind the cop.
I was astounded that a rider on a road test would have been pulled over like that. Why would that have happened, a problem with the bike ownership or insurance? I can't imagine that the rider did anything illegal, I was right beside him and didn't see him do anything wrong.
