    Sliders for stunting

Question for the stunters out there..
    nylon/plastic sliders or aluminum sliders?
From what I read they might grab into the ground and not slide as well.
Advice from someone with experiance with both would be great.
Hoping aluminum can be used as I can machine sliders at work whenever needed haha.

Not a stunter but I to have heard the same as far as aluminum and plastic sliders go, but if I could machine my own sliders I would!

aluminum is nice ... but I would suggest the nylon ones.. since they absorb most of the impact rather than having a solid aluminum. alluminum would just transfer the impact to the frame... IMO.. and I used to stunt...
