So, not to get into extreme details, but a buddy of mine was in a head-on collision 3 yrs ago. The other guy crossed the line, the collision was in my buddy's lane, evidence on scene showed that the crash was indeed in my buddy's lane. ICBC confirmed cut n dry that the other guy who crossed the line was 100% at fault. Now,,,,it seems the other guy is sueing my buddy for the injuries he sustained.
Basically, I'd like to know if ICBC will represent my buddy in this silly attempt at a money grab? If not, then why have mandatory insurance? Why bother with underinsured motorists protection? Why have any fucking insurance at all??????
It seems so stupid and bizarre.
