motorcycle accident yesterday #6 rd rmd 4:30pm

saw a couple of fire trucks yesterday at 6 road and westminster hwy on the way home from work yesterday and found out today it was a motorcycle accident. I didn't see the bike or the rider, but was hoping whoever it was (not me, I don't have my bike back yet) is okay

anyone know anything about it? I caught sight of what looked to be a black sports car missing a driver side door as I went by but never saw the bike or I would have stopped

I'm pretty sure that was Unknown Rider. He used to post on BCSB, but come riding season, that dude is ALWAYS on the bike, or in the hospital, so we don't hear much from him these days. Heal up soon, Unknown Rider.

I don't think much about strangers in cars, planes or boats... so please don't be offended if I say I'm really not too conerned about Unknown Rider and his escapades.

If it's someone I know.. different story. I never met UR.

that's why I'm asking, I've met a few people off the site here either at bike night or at a tag site, and hoping it's not one of them. sounds terrible to say it that way, but such is life.

Nice to see the rider stop (across the highway!) to help.

He did it again. Unknown Rider went down on the Hope/Princeton Goat-trail somewhere between Sunday Summit and the Mine Hill around 4:00pm today.

Sad to hear, hope rider is not too hurt...

I cant believe how many cars just rode by(video). Not one person stopped and got out to help, especially the first few cars...

    Sad reality we live in...

There is no rule that states "One cannot ride in the middle of a lane" ...

... and so, the best possible lane position choice is the one that offers a clear/clean pavement surface, and the best unobstructed view of the road ahead, plus the best 'escape door' position, should any situation arise ... which just might happen to be the middle of a lane, from time to time.
