It is commonly known that a large number of accidents involving motorcycles are created by drivers of cars not checking their mirrors before changing lanes.
I feel that BLIND SPOT MIRRORS would help to change this. Since the convex mirror will show movement in that area behind the driver, the driver may be more apt to look more closely into the larger mirror before changing lanes.
I have these mirrors on my motorcycle. They are really valuable. I still do the head check but the mirrors really assist me in my attempts to be even safer when changing lanes.
The are inexpensive and simply stick to the corner of the larger mirror.
I see some vehicles have them as a part of the large mirror. Some vehicles..not all vehicles.
I think that BLIND SPOT MIRRORS SHOULD BE MADE MANDATORY FOR ALL VEHICLES.
What do you think?
