The other day I went out for a spin and thought it felt like the ride was a bit bumpy.
At first I dismissed the bump as poor road surface conditions. The next day I noticed the bump bump bump feeling again... so I raise the question to you all... What do you think might be causing this? I've tried all I can, with my modest set of maintenance and repair skills... so im going to take it into the dealer, but just want to pick your brains before I do.
Bike is a 2009 Kawasaki ER-6n (Essentially a Ninja 650R).
Milage is about 6,500kms.
My chain isn't loose, tires are inflated as per Kawasaki's spec, and I can't find any loose nuts, bolts, screws, or anything else. I DID HOWEVER notice that there is no balancing weights on the front tire.. but I can't honestly recall if there ever was or not.
The bump feels somewhat intermittent, does not seem to be affected much by speed or RPM.
Sticky spot on chain? Missing wheel weight? Bent rim? Suspension is toast? Thoughts, ideas? All input welcomed.. Flame-suit is on, just incase I have overlooked something incredibly newby and obvious.
