    WMRC Round 4 - Monday Aug 20

Hello WMRC Fans, Racers, Members and Volunteers,

Our final race round of the year is just around the corner. Monday Aug 20 is your last opportunity to race with your WMRC family for 2012.

We are looking forward to a great day filled with racing and friendly competition. On top of the championship points up for grabs the WMRC is happy to announce that the final round will be sponsored by Cascade Pools.

The Cascade Pools "Big Kahuna Challenge" will award a cash prize to the racer who can amass the largest total points for the day. We will be adding up points for every class so if you run multiple races in one day you will be able to get more points. Borrow an extra bike and run as many classes that you can handle! The rider with the most points at the end of the day will win $500 courtesy of Cascade Pools. (*Prizes to be awarded at the year end banquet)

Not to leave the Novice group out of the fun there will be a draw for $250 worth of WMRC credit to go towards your the 2013 racing season with the club. The only catch with the Novice group will be that to qualify you must keep your bike on two wheels for the day. If you finish both races you will qualify for the draw and a chance at the prize!

A big thanks to Cascade Pools for joining us as a sponsor for the 2012 season.

At lunch time there will be a Track Walk for the Kids and an opportunity for all your non racing friends and family to come out and see the track. There will be a fly by for the kids by some of our pro racers so they can see the bikes in action up close.

We will also be holding Taste of Racing for our two wheeled fans that want to have a go at the track during the lunch break. Tell your friends to come down and enjoy the day with us at the track.

We look forward to seeing you there,

    Ryan Welton

Would like to thank all the companies that dont' sponsor me yet. Apple, DC Shoes and of course Starbucks. Latte's 4 Life

Awesome day, first race at Mission was very fun. Event for the kids was stellar, I saw so many happy little kids (36 Pizza's) will do that.

Thanks Tom & Blair, Chicken strippers, other WMRC racers and the corner working volunteers.

Video is uploading of the 250 Race.

I had a good day. 1st in int. 600ss, won championship, 2nd in int. open, won championship. Turned a 1:14.6, personal best. I was dropping about a second a round. I would sure have loved to have had an eight round season like my novice year. Times would have been quite a bit lower, but it is OK, better than nothing!!!

Looks like black numbers next year, so those would likely be my last podiums ever

Oh, Heiner... we are expecting big things, baby. Congrats on a great first ride.

I can't wait for the pics of this round. Was some very close racing in 600 SS.

Wicked video!....Would have been cool to see how close you got to Mr "Deja" Vu had the lens been pointed ahead!?....

Was waiting on "Official" results, but I think our "Illustrious" Ms. Mynx picked up the Top Female Award in the Womens' Open too!.....

Congratulations are definitely in order for this weekends results!....

Honourable Mentions going out to Dan and Laura for their efforts too, I might add!

There are no strippers like a 'Chicken Stripper'!....lol

    Great job everybody!...

    More to come next season!
