So decided to take on a more major maintenance project myself.
The clutch friction plates need replacing, so figure it's one of those "take it apart and put it back together in the reverse order" things.
I have to say that not only are they fun to ride they are also fun to work on and maintain.
The more maintenance I do on this bike, the more I come to realize that these bikes are very well engineered and very well built.
I expect nothing less from a BMW.
The clutch re + re was relatively simple and didn't have an issues.
Everything fit properly and even the clutch cover gasket was intact upon disassembly and I could have used it again.
I didn't mind you, but in a pinch I would have reused it again it was in that good of condition.
