http://www.canada.com/mobile/story.html?id=7173096This whole thing gets me pretty riled up. A coordinated nation-wide set of press releases with sympathetic nation wide media coverage. Hopefully it never gets off the ground. Let the parents be the parents. These individual decisions are not the role of government.“They don’t have the judgment, the physical size or the strength to operate these safely — even the smaller machines,” said Dr. Andrew Lynk.
In a position paper released by the organization Thursday, the society called on provincial governments to ban the use of all ATV model sizes by children under the age of 16.
“We’re seeing an increasing number of injuries and deaths each year from ATV use in kids,” Lynk said.
