So here's the story. Met a lady, she loves the bike. Loves to go fast. doing 160, 180, 140 through the twisties is a blast. But the issue here is she is well. Not light. about 160 pounds max. Shes a tall girl. 6'0. After a ride on my 2005 zx6r I noticed a day later there was a massive flat spot in the middle. Now i realize the bike just had my suspension tuned to my weight. 160lbs. So that added weight would obviously wear the tire. So I need your help me fellow sport bikers. Do I....
A. Go to a suspension place and find a middle ground to calibrate the load for a passenger. Even though my solo riding will be affected I'm willing to sacrifice the performance.
B. Do a quick fix and try adding more psi to the rear tire?
C. I've wanted a 1000. Like an R1 or cbr1000rr for a while. Would l larger sportbike distribute the weight and handle a passenger easier?
D. Or sadly D. Look for a bike more equipped for passenger riding on a routine basis like VFR or triumph speed triple
I would greatly appreciate any educated feed back. Anybody saying "by her a bike" or "have her lose some weight" can rightfully f*ck off. I'm not here for that.
