Obviously, the vast majority of posts on BCSC are fueled by by either Chevron 94-octane, or alcohol... and in about similiar proportion.
So, as someone that loves a damned good brew, I figured maybe there'd be a place for a thread dedicated to the many fine beers the local brewers are putting out these days. I've spent probably too much time this weekend behind Howe Sound's Pumpkineater Ale, and it's a damned good Autumn brew. Lots of flavour and it smells like nutmeg and pumpkin pie. Helps that it's stupidly easy to drink and tips the scales at something like 8.6%. Not quite the best beer I've ever had (since-deceased Nectar of the Gods by Ministry of Beer & brewed by Russell takes that honour), but it definitely suits the season.
You guys (and gals) had any noteworthy beers of late?
