what is the one bike that you wish to have in the stable purely for nostalgia?

for me it's a zx7rr. the bike that got me hooked, this dude in east van had one, not a rr, and raced it at westwood. it's the bike that got me into motorcycles and i never owned one but am always looking.

    Happy Thanksgiving..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare-...item2a234cd967

I`m lucky enough to have owned my RZ500 for close to 20 years now. It was my dream bike since I first laid eyes on it. A ZX7rr and a YZF750 would look perfect next to it.

this may come off as being sacriledge but for me as a long time flat track fan a Harley XR750 turns my crank
after that as far as crotch rockets go a gsxr 750RK gets the job done.

Honda NS400R, I regret selling the one I had! Of all the many bikes that I've had (over 20), it was the one that fit me the best and had the most character. It seized while chasing VTwinVince on his VTR1000 up Furry Creek hill so many moons ago. Sold it to a fellow back east.

my second bike, a Norton Commando Scrambler, a dual sport bike before its time!! For its time, it was very smooth and would run rings around the Triumphs and any other bikes of the day!

The "One" bike I'd like to have in my stable for nostalgia is, sadly, one I never will have.
Gentlemen, I give you... the Honda RC165!

RC30 for sure (till I had to put on V-rod tires), NS400R too (till I had to re-jet it).

Tonight though I think my old R65LS would be a nice ride to have back.

I would have to go with a 2 stroke gp replica like an rz 500 ,NSR or maybe a RG gamma but I doubt It would just be for show and I may even get it impounded.

I'm with you on this one. I'll make it easy on myself, I'm building a replica of this one. Then I'll buy an MV Agusta 850 America.
