So the story is I had warmed up my 1994 Ninja 250 for about 10 minutes. Fuel was on and everything was all good to go. Ride out for a minute, then as I am slowing down for a roundabout the bike dies as I pull the clutch in. This has happened before, but usually I can just start is back up. I pull over to the side and try to start it, making sure everything was in the right position. Bike doesn't start, and after a few tries the bike doesn't even turn over anymore. Eventually some bikers help me push start it, and it works then. On the way home it almost died a couple times, but with a liberal application of trottle it kept going.
I apologize as I am new to motorcycling and the mechanics of cars and bikes in general, so my question is: what is the likely problem here? The starter, battery, alternator?
Thanks in advance for the help.
