I was just toying with the idea of buying a house in Redding California as more or less a recreational property and was looking for some input /pros and cons to this idea.
I could get a 3 bed/2 bath 2 level house with 2 car garage in a subdivision for about 100k right near hwy 3 and 36.
Maybe rent it out as a BCSB Get away?
Any thoughts on why this would be a good or bad idea?
