My dream car throughout most of my youth and teens.
Had a 5' wide dry mounted pic on black mdf of the white Countach on my bedroom walls for years, love.
Took autobody course in high-school for 1 year, had Countach image put on class jackets, which I still have, funny.
I wonder if he ever found his Farrah Fawcett look-alike?

In an auto show in Calgary back in the day, (circa mid 80's) they had one there. My dad, brother and I all loved this car, we had a framed picture of one in the hallway. We'll there was a line up 40 people deep to sit in it, take a picture etc. We must have stood there for an hour and 15 min to get a turn. Dad goes up and plunks his ass in it, was mind blown, then my brother. I walk up and my dad say's laughing,"You won't fit in there Glenn, you're too tall."
Sure as shit, not a fucking chance. At 5'10 my head hit the room and my size 10 runners wouldn't fit in the foot box. The dream was over.
I sat in Kitt, the Knight Rider car. Fit's me just fine. FML
Got ya all beat, MoFo's!
I975; I was in the little village of Henley on Thames as part of the crew in a wee boat race that put the place on the map.
They were quite taken with us Canadian boys and for reasons that I probably really don't want to know; the proprietor of the local auto specialty house took a few of us lads for a spin around the local roads in the Countach! I am eternally grateful to the proprietor that he never did anything to sully the memory because that was definitely one of the highlights of my automotive experiences!!!
That same trip the John Players Lotus Europa, F1 and Norton were all on static display but completely hands on to the rowing crews (not the general public) at the Nottingham Rowing Regatta! What an experience!
All my Mistresses have two round, sticky black feet and are Made in Japan or Germany!
If I die on Phillip Island, so what! I'm already in Heaven! WOOHOOO!!!
"makes you feel like a rock star" ...
no shit batman, I'll bet owning the hardware he has parked in his garage makes him feel like that every frikken time he walks into it.
