So a couple weeks ago my bike had problems starting and blah blah. You can find the thread here: http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/sh...s-Didn-t-Start
I got the battery checked and it was toast, so I got a new one. Hooked it up today, tried to start aaaannnd nothing. I know the battery isn't the problem because the gauge lights, neutral light etc. was on. The fuses are all fine. Fuel and ignition switch were turned on.
So I pulled apart the handlebar switched to see if the ignition "trigger" was broken. It was. This would seem to be the problem, except when I held it in place with my hands and tried it still wouldn't work. So my question is: Is the switch the problem, or is there something else I'm missing?
Here is the trigger. Note the tab that broke off that would hold it in place.
