I'm in a bit of a pickle. I love to ride motorbikes. I love to ride in traffic. I love to ride the twisty bits between the boring stretches. I love to ride fast. I love to ride in the dolomites and the rockies. I love it so goddam much that I've decided that really all I want to do is ride a motorbike.
But that's not the problem.
The problem is that I'm 32 and a computer geek who doesn't have a background in any industry or have any skills associated with motorcycling associated careers. I can write code to do anything you want or better yet manage a team of geeks to do it for me but my interest in software development has been eclipsed by my love of riding. I want to ride, but I still need to make money and survive the transition.
Besides having the skills associated with riding (and surviving) for 10 years I'm pretty much starting from ground zero. You could say my hobby is riding. Any suggestions on how to develop on that and make it a life?
