    No,
The US border guard said that this was a memo that they got from HQ.
My guess is, because the NEXUS lane starts so deep into the line up, it is not very busy, therefore not worth being open I guess.

So that means that my shopping hours have to be adjusted.

You are correct,,,,,unless you know the special way to get to the southbound Nexus to bypass the main lineup, the southbound Nexus agent sits there and does nothing. Totally ill thoughout, typical government action and re-action to a situation.

I live by the border and NEVER wait to get into the NEXUS lane.
    I know the way.

Just had a conversation with the US Border guard.

He says that the NEXUS lane is not used that much and it is costing them too much extra wages...
That's 2 extra border guards per day and it's a lot of overtime.
This morning, he said that he only got an average of 10 cars per hour...

His guess is that until the Canadian side decide to widen the road and make the Nexus lane more accessible from Sumas way, the new hours are there to stay...

Probably will have to buy up that property with all those shitty old cars parked on it, then reconfigure the lanes. Would make sense to do that.

Or have the Nexus lane going thru the truck entrance off 4th ave.... That would be a quick and effective fix...

Didn't I show you the 'short cut' Nexus or not? ;-)
