The Toutatis asteroid is passing earth at this moment. Not the most exciting to look at unless you're into the astronomy thing... but still its worth a peek. The asteroid is about 3.5 mile wide and will be within about 15 times the distance from earth to the moon. It flies by appro. every four years and is half the size of the asteroid that presumably killed off the dinosaurs
This is the asteroid that was officially discovered in 1989 and re-enforced the whole killer near earth objects media hype.
