Hit and Run Motorcycle accident!! (Boundary and Linwood (near Canada Way))

Hello people of the internet!
Please listen to my story:
On Monday, December 17th 2012 at ~6:45pm, I was riding my motorcycle Southbound on Boundary Road and just passed Linwood (one block south of 18th, and 2 blocks south of Canada Way) when a black sedan sped through the T-intersection and cut in front of me with about 3ft to spare. I held my brakes and swerved to the middle lane to avoid contact, but ended up low-siding my bike. The bike stayed in lane 1, while I was launched into lane 2 into the path of oncoming traffic. My bike and I slid for approximately 30m before coming to a stop. The bike made lots of sparks, the gas tank ripped open and leaked gas all over the road, and I did a few tumbles before stopping. The skid opened up both my legs, but luckily my gear kept the rest of me safe. When I looked up, the car had slowed down (as though he was looking back) then when he/she realized they caused an accident, they took the next left (back the direction they came from) to avoid anyone seeing their license plate.
I have several witnesses who saw the whole thing, and they spoke with the police while I got into an ambulance. The witnesses were angels - one of them took pictures of the scene, another stabilized my neck and spine, and another rerouted traffic single-handedly. If anything, this incident gave me a lot of perspective on how people work. As a community we can get a lot done, to help each other out. We are all connected in some way, and I know that it is possible for us to find this person, especially if you live within 5km of the area. Please share this post with your friends. I don't want to even think about what would've happened if I was an elderly woman, a child, a disabled person, a mother, etc.
Paramedics said that if I didn't train the muscles around my right knee, my lower leg would have broken right off.
I was in a neck brace for just over 3 hours and had X-rays done at Burnaby General. Right now I am sore as ever and have gashes on both knees, and I can't bend them at all. I'm a personal trainer by vocation and need my body to do my work. This has already caused me several lost clients and has effectively ended my work for the rest of the year. I'm very thankful that I am alive, because if I were going 5kph faster I would have been in front of them, and my younger sisters wouldn't have an older sister. My spouse wouldn't have a spouse.
As a loving and peaceful Vancouverite, this is what I request:
Any witnesses, please call the police. You may have information in addition to the witnesses that I met on the scene.
If you know of the person who caused this, any information leading to his/her arrest will be rewarded dearly.
If you are the person who did this, turn yourself in before someone else does it for you. A hit and run is a felony - please face the (financial) consequences now, to prevent facing legal consequences later in life.
- Yet another victim of a hit and run in Vancouver.
In Canada, every person commits an offence who has the care, charge or control of a vehicle that is involved in an accident with another person or vehicle and with intent to escape civil or criminal liability fails to stop and give his or her name and address and, where any person has been injured or appears to require assistance, offer assistance.
If convicted summarily, a driver who failed to stop is liable to a fine of not more than $2,000.00 or to imprisonment for not more than 6 months, or to both. By indictment, a driver is liable to a maximum of 5 years in jail. In both cases, a driver who failed to stop is subject to a discretionary driving prohibition up to 3 years.
In circumstances where a driver failed to stop at the scene of an accident knowing that bodily harm was caused, the driver is liable to a maximum of 10 years in jail and discretionary driving prohibition up to 5 years. If a driver has failed to stop at the scene of an accident knowing or reckless as to whether a person is dead, the driver is liable to life imprisonment and discretionary driving prohibition up to life.
