Hey guys, I have been reading on this board for the past week because I have recently got into sportbikes. I have put off my plans to turbo my car and instead invest in getting a motorcycle. I have never tried riding a sportbike and I am definitely going to ProRide this summer. I have officially been converted to a strict two wheeler
There has been Many useful information on this board that will greatly benefit me in choosing a bike. From what I have read CBR600's are fairly forgiving and is a good starting point. There are several questions I have.
I am not too sure how motorcycles work as well. When in first gear do u have to mix the clutch like a standard car? When downshifting do u have to rev match it as well? I know that ProRide will teach me this but I just want to have a basic concept of how to ride a motorcycle.
What are the differences between the CBR600 F2, F3, F4i etc?
Are the fuel injected models better than the ones that use carbs?
I am not very familiar with motorcycle terms as well, but overtime I will learn. Any info will be of great help.
