I want to free up the exhaust on my wife's 696. I say mainly to ease the underseat temperatures (when I ride it, the result is roasted chestnuts). However the bikes sound oh so much better when a little bit of help.
What I'm looking for is some info from anyone with some Ducati/modern bike fuel injection set ups. I'm not really sure who (PeeWee and the other guy here with a 696) could be of assistance.
I know that there is a Termi set up that includes a new ECU. Is that something that is 100% needed? I have located a set of Arrow Darkline slip-ons for a fair price that don't seem to have any problem with the factory ECU.
